After so much positive feedback I decided to go to Kawa Sakis in Litchfield for their all you can eat Sushi lunch. The first thing you have to be aware of if you are looking for ambiance this is not the place for you. It is pretty basic inside and probably could use some renovation. I am not sure the interior has changed much from when it was one of my favorite sit down Chinese restaurants in the area. many years ago. But I didn’t come here for the decor, I came for the food and that didn’t disappoint. The all you can eat sushi is actually more like a buffet in variety except everything is prepared fresh for you. Kind of the best of both worlds. The all you can eat lunch is $13.95 and includes soups, salads, appetizers, items they classify as kitchen that include teriyaki chicken, hibachi rice and many other selections, and your choice of over 40 sushi and rolls. It is set up that you can order as much as you want up to three times, but they will bill you for leftovers to prevent people from wasting food. Now that the logistics are taken care of lets get to the food. I ordered a mixture of appetizers and rolls. I would recommend going with 3-4 people so you can try a variety of rolls and other things and not have to be rolled out of the place. I tried 4 of the appetizers, the teriyaki chicken and 3 rolls. I wanted to try a whole lot more, but I also wanted to make it to my car, so maybe next time. I enjoyed everything. The appetizers were all good to very good, with the spring rolls, shrimp tempura, and pork dumplings superior to the vegetable tempura and teriyaki chicken. The rolls were all tasty with my favorite being the Sunrise Chefs Special rolls, with the spicy mango shrimp roll a close second and the California rolls just like you would expect California rolls to taste. I think this place is a bargain. Nothing was blow me away good, but then if it was I would be shocked considering the price and the quantity. What it is, in a place to get good sushi and Japanese appetizers without taking out a second mortgage.
